Cyprus CyberSecurity Challenge 2018: Rijndael's Prank

In this challenge, I spent more time than it was needed. First i thought i had to decode the emojis to words and not to decrypt the emojis with the key. So i spent a valu time trying all the online tools to decode the emojis.

Description

"Rick-> Morty ugghhb the flag i need is on the server http://192.168.125.101, go get it for me, the key is 3m0j15_ev3rywh3re Morty-> Geez, Rick! Oh well, okey…"

Solution

When i realized that the emojis were encrypted i made a quick google and i end up with the emoji aes online tool.
The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), also known by its original name Rijndael,is a specification for the encryption of electronic data established by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2001.

We had all needed to solve this challenge. Copy and paste the emojis into the website with the given key from the description

And thas was it!
